Introduction

ShopRite Today … Families Serving Families

Purpose
The purpose of this project is to learn about and analyze the information systems that ShopRite utilizes. On this blog, we will identify the strengths and weaknesses of the information systems. In addition, we will identify the problems and issues and provide possible solutions that can be implemented to strengthen their strategy.

Collaboration
Our team works through the process of collaboration. We all have one common goal in completing this project to the best of our abilities and getting the highest grade possible. We will all split the project up into different parts and we will each submit and review all work that has been added to the project.  We would judge if our project is successful by the outcome, which in this case would be a good grade. Another way would be through the way we grow and learn as a team. If we learn more skills that involve collaborating, it would give us more experience for future projects. Our team is going to use a mix of synchronous and asynchronous collaboration tools. Some examples of synchronous collaboration tools  we will use are meeting face-to-face, and group texts, while some examples of asynchronous tools we will use are email and discussion forums. For our project, we used Google docs and slides, and Microsoft One Drive to create and share content so that we can all equally work on it without having to create multiple versions of the same document. These tools help to provide version control.
