Conclusion
Through this project, we were able to learn a lot about the Information Systems ShopRite uses as well as things about the company that we did not know. Furthermore by collaborating successfully, we were able to communicate well and get the project done effectively and efficiently. Moreover after talking with ShopRite managers, we were able to get a better understanding of their business strategy and analyze the way they manage and utilize Information Systems to complete there business process especially returns and social media. For the structured process of returns, we realized and recommended that is very important for ShopRite to update the way the process is done by introducing a Information system and also digitizing the receipt information to not only speed up the return process but also to improve data accuracy. It was also save the employees time since they would no longer have to do the logs manually and then input them into WakeLink. Additionally to improve their social media presence, ShopRite should implement activities that would engage customers to interact with their page and store employees to build upon their customer relations and gain free advertising in the process. If ShopRite implements our recommendations, they will have more success and also gain an edge over their competition. It will also help to strengthen their brand and competitive strategy
